Glazer Consulting has rebranded the Association of NHS Charities, which raises funds for the National Health Service.

The branding consultancy won a three-way unpaid credentials pitch in May to secure the five-figure contract.

Besides designing a visual identity for the umbrella brand, Glazer is also creating a series of print and e-mail marketing campaigns, which will be deployed over the next 12 months.

The association is aiming to bring all 300 NHS-affiliated charities under its umbrella. It currently covers just 43. Together, the charities raise about £300m a year.

‘The new branding is very simple and strong, as we are trying to provide more clarity about what the association does, so that members and non-members alike can understand what it stands for and how it can support them,’ says Glazer client services director Hannah Powlesland.

The new identity will launch at the Association of NHS Charities’ annual conference on 3 December.
