Another Vision designs Electric December website

Another Vision has designed the website for Bristol Watershed Media Centre’s Electric December, a digital advent calendar with 24 downloads created by young people aged between 14 and 21.

The centre, which promotes creativity in cinema and digital media, has run the digital calendar for ten years. Another Vision was appointed on the strength of its design for last year’s website.

A new interface for this year’s site features photographic imagery on the theme of ‘shoot, share and show’, says Another Vision partner Mike Kendall.

‘We’ve also used a darkroom theme and LED icons to give it a completely different look and feel,’ Kendall adds. However, due to budget constraints this year, the site has not undergone as dramatic a redesign as last year, claims Kendall.

The website, which goes live tomorrow, will allow users to subscribe to podcasts of the 24 downloads, find out more about the filmmakers and access the Electric December ten-year archive.
