Four IV designs Bill Amberg store for London

Luxury leather goods designer Bill Amberg opens a new London store tomorrow, with design by Four IV.

The small 16m2 shop in Burlington Arcade, W1, will feature a dark chocolate-coloured leather floor. It is designer Amberg’s fourth store, and the first to be designed by luxury retail interiors specialist Four IV.

Amberg’s bigger leather products will be displayed on a bespoke back-wall storage system, while smaller bags and other items will sit in the window, which will feature a ‘scissor framework’.

According to Four IV creative director Chris Dewar-Dixon, the small leather items will be displayed ‘like fine jewellery’.

A winding staircase will lead to an upstairs room where customers can discuss commissioning bespoke pieces. The room will be ‘bathed in red’, according to Dewar-Dixon, and feature a leather daybed in the window and a chandelier made out of horn.

The consultancy claims that its design is intended to reflect ‘the craftsmanship’ of Amberg’s products.

    Dont Bother !

Very silly prices, and items were not made very well. As a brand Amberg lacks the craftsmanship and quality for the price range he has put himself in. Designs are not that good, and we could find nothing worth buying.
Sadly we are told most of the items are made abroad, and not made here in Great Britain !!

    Poor
