Golley Slater triumphs in Cream Awards

Arthur Steen Horne Adamson, Taxi Studio and Golley Slater were all winners at last night’s Cream Awards.

Golley Slater won both the grand prix and the chairman’s award for its campaigns for The Army and for Twycross Zoo respectively.

Arthur Steen Horne Adamson won two gold medals for its animation for Ashburton. The work scooped golds in the illustration and animation categories.

Checkland Kindleysides won gold in the environmental section for its work on the driving simulator pod for Sony Playstation’s Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.

In the packaging category, Taxi Studio was awarded the gold award for its Tesco Cookie and Doughnut bags. The consultancy also won silver in the corporate identity section, in which there was no gold, for its logo for Willie’s World Class Cacao.

Northbank was awarded gold in the art direction category for The Green Book, for Stanhope.

Purple Circle scooped gold for its annual report for Nottingham Community Housing Association. Dowling Design & Art Direction also won gold for its press campaign for the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, and KLM won a gold award for its Haunted poster for Warwick Castle.

The Cream Awards recognise design and advertising work by consultancies and agencies based in the Midlands, the South West, Wales and East Anglia.
