CMW repositions Aviva Investors

Aviva Investors is undertaking a repositioning of its global brand, carried out by CMW, which is leading a new strategy and will create an international campaign and a suite of marketing materials.

The consultancy won a strategic and creative three-way pitch in December and has been asked to look at European, North American and Asian markets to target the company’s internal and external clients.

Aviva Investors – the asset management arm of Aviva plc – will launch its repositioned brand in the first quarter of 2011. The current positioning has been in place since the launch of the brand in 2008.

Paul Vallois, new business director at CMW, says the work will affect the entire on- and offline touchpoints across the brand.

CMW managing director Martin Nieri says, ‘Aviva Investors has a great opportunity to turn the world of asset management upside down and address the need for a different type of company in an ever-changing global landscape.’
