Free breakfasts for design tutors
Designer Breakfasts, a regular meet-up for designers to discuss business issues in the industry, is aiming to encourage more design tutors to get involved with their discussions.
Event organisers are dangling the carrot – or perhaps the croissant – of two free places for each breakfast to tutors from the nation’s design courses.
The freebies are as response to the UK Design Alliance’s initiative to connect and involve colleges an universities within the design industry.

Designer Breakfasts are offering two free tickets a month to Designer Breakfasts (every fourth Thursday of the month) and they went in a flash. We were very encouraging to see design tutors being interested in the creative business of running a business. We hope other design networks take up the baton.
