‘Tis the season to get glugged’

Party dresses at the ready – Christmas is coming early for all you Gluggers out there.

We all know by now how December pans out and it being very hard to avoid the copious amounts of indulgences – drinking, eating and ’merryment’ a plenty (I’m piling on the pounds just thinking about it). So if you can’t beat them, join them – as the old adage says.

Glug has pipped everyone to festive party starting line this year – kicking off with its final event of 2010 tomorrow night at Cargo (and, yes, it is still November).

Glug and Zena Bruges presents

This time the monthly creative get-together from Studio Output will join forces with Jason Bruges Studio to bring an evening of inspirational conversation and entertainment – and, of course, to get a bit tipsy.

Zena Bruges has brought together a lovely mix of creative practitioners to share their stories, including Greyworld’s Andrew Shoben, Make architect Katy Ghahremani, textile designer Elena Cochero, founder of Lost Value and Doodle Earth’s Nick Taylor, along with performances from High Rankin.

Bruges and Gabby Shawcross from Jason Bruges Studio will also be talking about current and recently completed studio projects, including the reveal piece for Aston Martin, the W Hotel in Leicester Square, an artwork for a basketball stadium for the University of Oregon and Platform 5 at Sunderland Station.
