When the smoke clears

It’s always interesting when illustrators and artists bring out their own clothing lines, and even more so when the clothes can transform you into their works of art. Such is the case with street artist and illustrator Kid Acne’s new hand-printed range, which allow the ladies, and men with a penchant for cross-dressing, to transform into one of his Stabby Women.

The new line coincides with Kid Acne’s first London solo exhibition When The Smoke Clears, which opened at Shoreditch’s Concrete Hermit gallery last night. Here’s a few pictures of the space before the swarms descended.

When the smoke clears – very original and fresh.
I used to be an Art Director/Illustrator in the advertising biz, like Kid Acne, I have turned my skills in a very different direction – Retro and Vintage Tees – and happier for it.
