Cross Over

Central St Martins has worked with ad group Lowe and Partners to develop the first exhibition to be held at the college’s new King’s Cross home.

Cross Over explores the collaborative work of 2011 graduates across art, communication, spatial and product design, fashion and textiles and the centre for performance.

The show is the climax of Nova, a prize system developed with Lowe and Partners which will award a winner, two runners up and four commendations with cash prizes.

Lowe/CSM/Nova programme director Zoe Lazarus says, ‘We’d like to work with some of the winners afterwards if possible.’

It is hoped that the show will spark a culture of collaboration. Head of CSM, Professor Jane Rapley OBE, says, ‘We have chosen this theme of Cross Over to show the richness of our students’ creative ideas and the potential potency for the future of the community of staff and students working alongside each other in this stunning and visually permeable building.’
