Rigby & Peller was granted a Royal Warrant in 1960 as corsetiere to Queen Elizabeth II.

Innovare has been working with the brand since 2007, creating interior designs for its stores in Cambridge, Westfield, and London’s King’s Road, according to creative director Lloyd Blakey.

He says the consultancy has been tasked with bringing the Mayfair and Knightsbridge stores in line with the more recent designs, without losing any of their heritage.

Blakey says, ‘Knightsbridge and Mayfair are historic sites with a very loyal clientele who most not be alienated.’

Innovare’s work will include renovating the changing rooms and reworking cash desks and other display elements.

Blakey says, ‘We want to improve key visual merchandise points to aid customer flow as well as introduce some feature technology.

‘Both these central London sites have an abundance of beautiful architectural details, which sit well with this heritage brand. We therefore need to ensure a sympathetic facelift for these prestigious boutiques.’

Blakey says work is set to start on the stores in the new year and be completed by the beginning of February.
