Running from Dubai, the new outpost will serve clients across the Middle East and will be run by two new members of staff – Alex Apthorpe and Yvonne Hoffzimmer, founders of Dubai-based consultancy The Bridge Live Communications.
The studio, which is being set up this week, has already found work with Samsung, Kaspersky and Credit Suisse in the region.
Jack Morton has 17 other offices globally but none in the Middle East, so this was a ‘glaring gap’ which the consultancy has looked to fill according to Apthorpe.
He says Jack Morton will look to pick up ‘inbound work from overseas – Asia, Europe and Africa.’
The region is also a hotspot for major exhibitions and fairs which Apthorpe will look for work through.
He says, ‘This week there’s the Dubai Motor Show, The Air Show is every two years, Abu Dhabi has the Idex military trade show – and there’s the Quatar 2022 World Cup to think about.’
Apthorpe says the offices is also looking for senior creative staff, saying, ‘We’re actively recruiting within the group and locally.’
