Designival Mini
Ahead of next year’s planned full Designival event, the Liverpool design festival organisers are planning a Designival Mini event this month.
Berg founder Matt Webb and Dutch adman Erik Kessels will be joined by a yet-to-be-named third speaker for the event at Liverpool’s Camp and Furnace.
The talks will be followed by a social evening, and we’re promised ‘one of Camp and Furnace’s legendary Food Slams’.
The Designival festival launched in 2008 as the Design Festival North, and last year took the new Designival moniker.
The 2012 event featured illustrated and toy designer James Jarvis, SomeOne co-founder Simon Manchipp and Lance Wyman – the man behind the Mexico 68 Olympics identity.
This year’s Designival Mini is intended as a taster for Designival in full which, the organisers say, will return next year.
