Drawing London
For charity event 10×10 – a section of east London was divided into a 10×10 grid, with each of the 100 squares allotted to a designer, architect or artist to create a piece of art representing their space.
The artworks are going on display later this month, before being auctioned for construction aid charity Article 25.
Pieces going under the hammer include Ian Wale’s Cycledelic, which reimagines Boris bikes in a rainbow of colours:
Oliver Barratt’s abstracted take on a shop storeroom in Old Street:
Derek John Draper’s study of murals on Bethnal Green Road:
And Peter Heath’s Brick Lane triptych:
The 10×10 artwork is going on display at 1 Granary Square, London N1C from 21-28 November. It will be sold at a live charity auction event on 28 November. For more information visit www.10x10london.com.
