We were also drawn to Majnouna by Joumana Madlej, who works in Kufi script, the oldest form of Arabic, by forging contemporary designs with it, focussing particulalrly on the interplay between Kufi and geometry.

This stationary by Beirut-based Choux a La Crème is a sort of French-Lebanese affair, and sees itself as ‘witty modern and designy’.

Artist and designer Amber Khokar works in a range of materials and  counts HRH Prince Charles among her clients, according to Al Souk.
