Design Bridge creates new Fortnum & Mason confectionary packs

Design Bridge created new confectionary packaging for Fortnum & Mason, working with Timorous Beasties on illustrations for part of the range.

Design Bridge says it has aimed to create packaging that “delivers a sense of pleasure on all levels”. The consultancy says it took inspiration from the Fortnum & Mason archive and also visited its chocolatiers to see the confectionary being made.

For the core chocolate range, Handmade English, Design Bridge worked with Timorous Beasties to create a series of illustrations for each product.

For the fudge range, the consultancy worked with letterpress artist Jon Kielty at JMG Studio to redesign the glassine wrapper for the fudge range.

Kielty also developed the lettering for the main sleeve, which also uses a foil finish.
