Tom Dixon designs Harrods sandwich bar
Tom Dixon’s interior design arm Design Research Studio has created a new “palatial” sandwich bar at Harrods in London.
Tom Dixon Sandwich is a 152m2 space within the store that offers “a chic and comfortable bolthole”, according to Harrods.
It is located on the third floor, sandwiched between two Tom Dixon furniture concessions.
The design takes its inspiration from “classical London club interiors” and uses deep green, dark blue and burgundy colours.
It features brass lighting and club chairs, marble-clad tables and pierced metal screens, all from the Tom Dixon furniture collection and all previously unseen.
