Brandhouse has designed new-look branding for 200-year-old diamond company Tolkowsky.

Tolkowsky, which claims to have invented the industry standard ‘Ideal Cut’, has not been a consumer-facing company until this week’s relaunch.

Brandhouse was appointed following a creative pitch to design a visual identity, packaging, website and the point-of-sale literature for Tolkowsky’s contemporary jewellery line, which launches later this week.

The logo features the letter ‘T’ with ‘Ideal Cut’ drawn on to it.

Brandhouse project director for Tolkowsky Liz Wilson says, ‘The diamond jewellery market is incredibly competitive, with most of the major fashion houses moving into fine diamonds as part of their brand extension. However, there are virtually no contemporary consumer-facing diamond jewellery brands beyond that. The Tolkowsky brand will be the first to challenge some of the established retail brands.’
