First showing for Imagination’s Shell exhibition work

Imagination is designing Shell’s exhibition stand at the MPH car show at London’s Earls Court in November, having won a three-year contract to design all the oil company’s trade show stands around the world.

The consultancy was appointed more than three months ago, following a year-long, five-way creative pitch process.

Richard Foulkes, Imagination’s director of special events and productions, says, ‘Our brief was to come up with a whole new look for the exhibitions and implement them under a set of guidelines. This is a piece of brand thinking.’

Imagination beat five other design and events companies to win the contract. It says that it will be responsible for the design, content management and implemention of the trade stands.
