London-based group Devilfish has created an online presence for UKTV channel Dave – the consultancy’s first website project.

The group won the pitch for the dave.uktv.co.uk site with the concept of opening up the channel’s on-air ‘mansion’ for Internet users to explore.

Devilfish collaborated with digital group Preloaded to bring the concept to life.

Dave is aimed at males between 16 and 34, and the website, which launches on Sunday, features a broad range of content including regular blogs, exclusive video content and ‘the Davepedia’, an ever-expanding compendium of jokes, quotes and facts.

Steve North, channel head at Dave, says, ‘It’s very exciting to see the Dave brand transformed online.

Devilfish creative director Matt Cole says, ‘It’s difficult to think of a more perfect brand with which to work on the first Devilfish website project.

‘UKTV has encouraged ourselves and Preloaded to push the boundaries of what is expected from a TV-based destination and we’re incredibly proud of the results.’
