Landor sheds ten London posts

International brand consultancy Landor is believed to have made ten redundancies at its London office.

The head of brand engagement and senior client director positions are thought to have been axed, although Landor refused to comment.

Cheryl Giovannoni, managing director at Landor’s London office, says, ‘It is inappropriate to comment at this stage.’

In July, Landor made six redundancies at its London office. At the time, Giovannoni told Design Week that this was to ‘recalibrate the business’ in response to the market (DW 24 July).

Nine redundancies were made by the London office in 2002 as part of a global reorganisation and a further four in 1999 within the corporate identity department.

Landor’s competitor Interbrand made ten redundancies in May.
