True creates website for private school

True has created a website for Somerset private school Millfield.

The Bristol-based consultancy successfully pitched for the work earlier this year and the site is going live this week.

The brief was to design a site that would reflect the full range of activities on offer at Millfield, and appeal to prospective pupils and parents.

True director Carolyn Cooper says the new website contains several ‘mini-sites’, which showcase different aspects of the school’s programme.

‘This makes it very flexible and helps users to access relevant information quickly and simply,’ she says.

The homepage also features video and photo galleries.

‘The previous website was very static and we wanted to make it more powerful,’ says Cooper.

The designers consulted teachers, pupils and parents to try to capture the ‘spirit’ of Millfield.

True worked on the project with Intasia content management systems.

A great looking website and hope it shows how some sites can be constructed its just a shame that W3C standards on the homepage has 70 errors.
