Uffindell West brands bus company

Uffindell West has created a new identity for international bus and coach manufacturer Temsa.

The Turkey-based bus, coach and truck builder appointed Uffindell West in January following a creative pitch against incumbent Interbrand’s local office, a Belgium-based branding group and one or two other consultancies.

Temsa asked each group to submit logos at the pitch stage. The coach-builder then conducted market research around the identities before selecting Uffindell West’s roundel logo.

‘We were trying to achieve elegance, but also communicate Temsa’s essence of value in motion in the identity,’ says a spokeswoman for Uffindell West.

The branding will be applied across Temsa’s livery, signage, literature, sales support materials and website. The consultancy also gave Temsa ‘creative guidance’ on its new website, which launches today.

Temsa unveils its new branding today at the Busworld Europe exhibition currently taking place in Kortrijk, Belgium.

So, we can count Uffindell West and Interbrand out of the agencies who refuse to free pitch. This article is posted on the same day as the Birmingham Library free pitch debate, but this fact is just glossed over here?
