Naresh Ramchandani joins Pentagram’s London office as partner

Naresh Ramchandani has been appointed as the eighth partner in Pentagram’s London office, and is the first advertising and communications partner in the consultancy’s history.

Ramchandani, who joins Pentagram this week, has worked for ad agency St Luke’s and co-founded Karmarama in 2000. In 2007 he co-founded not-for-profit agency Green Thing.

John Rushworth, partner at Pentagram’s London office, says, ‘Pentagram has always had a strong focus on craft and Naresh’s writing ability and moving-image knowledge are a great fix with that focus. In addition, Naresh’s experience in advertising brings a new sensibility to Pentagram and allows us to offer additional communications services to our clients which will complement out graphic design offer in a strong new way.’

Michael Beirut, partner in Pentagram’s New York office, says, ‘At Pentagram we’ve always believed that design isn’t about any particular style or any particular medium, but about something more universal: the power of ideas. Naresh has built his career on his ability to come up with ideas… [he] is a great addition to the partnership and sets a clear direction for where design and communications is going today.’

Last month British-born Eddie Opara joined Pentagram’s New York office as partner.
