Wall of fame

It’s always good to end your Friday with a heart-warming community project, especially if it involves a time-lapse video of a prison-grey wall being transformed into something beautiful.

Manchester-based consultancy Photolink Creative Group invited more than 100 members of their team plus school children, and local residents to create mixed-media pieces to be put up on the wall between Photolink’s photographic studios.

The project aims to showcase the creative ability of everyone in the company, not just the designers.

Photolink Chairman and Founder David Walter, says, ‘This project goes to show just how important self expression is to every human being, and how much can be achieved when a group of people embrace their diversity.’

Aw, how sweet. And here’s a video of the Photolink Creative Group putting up the circles at super-speed.

What a great and fun idea. The time lapse video is a great touch that makes the installation another important part of the project. I also spotted the sun coming out just as the final two rows of circles were being added to the wall as if to say–look at us shine.

What a great way to get everyone involved in something creative. There should be more community based ideas like this.
