Consultancy Aesop absorbs marketing agency Steam

Consultancy Aesop, which set up in May, has absorbed promotional marketing consultancy Steam.

Aesop acquired Steam when the consultancy launched (https://www.designweek.co.uk/news/blue-marlin-breakaway-group-aesop-launches/3026028.article) and the two companies are now being merged together and will operate under the Aesop name.

Steam clients include Heineken and John Smith and the acquisition will see Aesop operate as an integrated consultancy, working on projects such as identity and promotional marketing work.

Roger Hart, chief executive of Aesop, says, ‘Having an award-winning promotional marketing agency such as Steam fully integrated into the Aesop offer is a significant new chapter in our growth strategy.’

The consutlancy is currenly working on a retail design-led project for Greenvale Frash Farm Potatoes following a three way pitch win.
