Oh Fudge!

Yesterday D Studio took to London’s Borough Market to initiate an illustration competition for Fudge brand Burnt Sugar, which it hoped could capture the imagination of young designers.

The live drawing event materialised as The Burnt Sugar Drawing Room on Borough Market – the first home of the fudge brand before it was sold into supermarkets.

 Plied with the very snack they’d been briefed to take inspiration from illustrators set about ‘celebrating individuality and incorporating fudge,’ according to creative partner at D Studio Wes Anson.

Thankfully this invitation for fudge-based deviance has so far been channelled into illustration, as at stake is the chance to have your design featured on Burnt Sugar’s Borough Market packaging – a bag which will carry the design.

Illustrators Gemma Correll, Jess Wilson and Kate Sutton, who were commissioned by D Studio to work on the re-packaging project, were on-hand to illustrate and decorate the space yesterday.
