Fickle body art
While you may be familiar with this magazine’s writers willingness to kick down the doors of injustice in search of a kernel of truth, today has proved that nothing is beyond the call as we put our forearms and shoulder blades on the line in the name of user-testing.
Fickle, a new temporary tattoo company, has sought out 14 illustrators from across the continent to create a range of 35 tattoos which have been grouped together in Animals, Monochrome and Typography sets.
Gregori Saavedra, Harriet Russell and Jess Wilson are among those who have contributed to the ‘wearable art’ project.
Saavedra, who has illustrated for the likes of Dazed and Confused and Time, has created designs for the monochrome series including this Butterfly.
Russell, whose work has been published by Phaidon, Penguin and Harper Collins, has created some Pop Art style pieces that look like this and this.
We bravely applied Butterfly by Jess Wilson, Lucky Horse by Charlotte Farmer and Grego Saavedra’s Beautiful Fish to various body parts.
Some time has past and we have no ill or psychoactive effects to report. Only these stunning results.
If you want to do this to yourself, head here, where sets of two start at £5.
