Rapha Cycling City Guides

Cycling brand Rapha has arguably done more than most to make city riding a stylish and aspirational activity.

It’s appropriate then, that the brand is capitalising on the popularity of city cycling to release a series of pocket-sized cycling guides to Europe’s most bike-centric cities.

Written by Andrew Edwards and Max Leonard (authors of Fixed – the guide to fixed gear culture) the jersey pocket-sized guides are published in collaboration with Thames & Hudson.

The books feature maps, guides and neighbourhood description, and cover European cycling hotspots Amsterdam, Antwerp/Ghent, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Milan and Paris.

The authors have worked with a different illustrator for each guide, so London features the work of Henry McCausland, Berlin is depicted by Mikkel Sommer and Barcelona’s illustrations are by Judy Kaufmann.

Designed to be ‘stylish, covetable, locally-informed and fun’ the guides also feature a series of maps and functional layouts to help you explore each city by bike.

The guides are initially being released as a full set, with a specially designed slipcase, and will then be published individually.
