Horror art at the Crossfire Halloween Massacre
As the specter of Halloween looms ever closer, more ghoulish art and graphics shows are emerging.
The Crossfire Halloween Massacre Art Show, a Vans event, is bringing together seven artists who are looking to raise hell at House of Vans.
French, Craig Questions, Mr Gauky, Zombie Stu Kolakovic and Paul Parker have all signed up and Graham Humphries and Godmachine could be about to be confirmed.
As you can see many of them are well versed in horror art and Halloween looks like the perfect time for them to show their work.
French has worked on three commissioned pieces for the show, which will be framed and ready to buy on the day. (Proceeds of all sales are going to selected charities).
Craig Questions, who will be drawing at the event, is known for his Heroin Skateboards character and a love of punk and gore.
Skateboarder/illustrator Zombie Stu Kolakovic has a niche for creating work imbued with a medieval and East European feel.
Street artist Mr Gauky will be hanging some of his “prized gore” and creating new work at the event.
Godmachine, if he is confirmed, is known for his band t-shirts and album art work, which have strong metal horror influences.
UK film poster artist Graham Humphreys may be in Boston, but if he does make the show you’ll see the kind of work he has created for the likes of Evil Dead and Nightmare on Elm Street.
There will also be live music, DJ sets, film screenings and fancy dress, of course.
The Crossfire Halloween Massacre takes place at House of Vans Arches, 228-232 Station Approach Road, SE1 8SW
