The Beautiful Meme brands Design Museum health awards

The Beautiful Meme has created the identity for the new AXA PPP Health Tech & You Awards, founded by AXA PPP healthcare, the Design Museum and 2020Health.

The new awards scheme aims to recognise “innovations in personal health technology”.

The Beautiful Meme creative director Tom Sharp says the branding is “a significant step away” from AXA PPP’s corporate identity.

The consultancy worked with illustrator Tal Brosh, who created a series of images which can be used in campaigns for the awards.

Brosh’s illustrations are used with a fluorescent green background and “fluid” typography – using the Colophon Foundry’s Raisonne typeface.

Sharp says: “[The branding] is designed to both reflect the innovation of the sector and appeal to a wide family audience who are beginning to embrace health technology.”

The Beautiful Meme was appointed to the work after developing a number of projects for the Design Museum. The consultancy worked with Brosh on the “It’s OK, We’re All Friends Here” event, which was held at the Design Museum in February.
