Digital group Made Media buys Fireloop Creative

Birmingham-based digital group Made Media has bought Stourbridge-based digital, graphics and branding consultancy Fireloop Creative.

Fireloop’s managing director David Evans joins Made Media as head of strategic development, while the group’s creative director Karen Webb becomes Made Media’s digital art director.

There will be no redundancies, since Fireloop was composed of Webb and Evans alone.

The Fireloop name will gradually ‘fade over’ to Made Media in the next two or three months, says Evans.

‘We are hoping that most of our clients will follow us over to Made Media, as we both work predominantly in the arts, culture and media sector,’ he adds.

Made Media managing director Jake Grimley says, ‘Fireloop is a small team but we were attracted to its big consultancy thinking’. The group won a Roses Design award in 2007 for its website for independent filmmaker Mister Young.
