Graphic design webchat

Anyone looking to break into graphic design will be able to pick the collective brains of industry experts in a webchat hosted by the Guardian tomorrow afternoon.

The live webchat will run from 1pm-4pm tomorrow, and the Guardian’s Alison White says the aim is to ‘help people looking to break into design, as well as asking experts to share their experiences’.

The panel will feature experts including Karolina Johnson, studio and creative services manager at the Design Council; Rhiannon James, senior manager of education and professional development at D&AD and Freda Sack from the International Society of Typographic Designers.

White says the panel will be answering questions in an ‘informal’ arrangement tomorrow afternoon, and questions can also be posted in advance at the Guardian’s Careers Community web page.

This will be the first in a series of careers webchats looking at the design industry – the next will focus on packaging design and will be held on 20 October.
