Bibliothèque’s Bibliotheque
Since founding in 2004, London-based consultancy Bibliothèque has been behind some of the most visually arresting, effective and beautiful design projects in recent years.
Clients have included institutions such as the Design Museum and the V&A; fashion brands like Paul Smith and Nike, and digital behemoths including Google.
Now, the group is celebrating its tenth birthday with a pop-up bookshop – Bibliothèque’s Bibliothèque – in east London, opening for one weekend only.
The centerpiece of the space will be an installation designed by Bibliothèque and design studio The Workers to realise the piece, which will take the form of 24 screens showing off projects from the past decade.
The space, in Hoxton arches, will feature a curated bookshop from Artwords, coffee bar from Climpson & Sons and furnishings provided by Vitsoe – another of Bibliothèque’s clients.
The bookshop will be stacked with hard to find publications, a selection of rarities from the design studio¹s collection and a few limited editions produced for the event, and only available for its duration.
Bibliothèque’s bookshop is open from 17 – 19 October at Hoxton Arches, Arch 402 Cremer Street, London E2 8HD
