Christina Koehn

My name is Christina Koehn and I am a designer born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Bellingham, Washington and studied Visual Communication Design at the University of Washington. I have been working at Microsoft for over 12 years focused mostly on experience design language and brand expression for products such as Bing, Edge and Windows. I currently manage the team behind the creative direction of Windows 11, leading expression elements such as typography, iconography, sound, and themes as well as storytelling to help set the product direction, and curate the work of the team into one holistic story for our customers. I am also co-founder of Women in Design at Microsoft.

On the personal side, I am a triathlete and have completed two full Ironman races. I also enjoy trail running, hiking, yoga and being outside in general. I love sketching, drawing and animals, especially my dog, Sasha.
