Jonas has worked in advertising for more than 15 years. But hates most advertising.
An attitude he adopted from the church of Kessel Kramer, the home of the book ‘Advertising for people who don’t like advertising’ – a philosophy Jonas has brought with him throughout his career at some of the best agencies in the world. At Grey LDN, Jonas made some of the most recognized campaigns in the history of the agency including ‘Life Paint’ and ‘Tate, 500 years of stories’. He went on to create a long line of internationally awarded campaigns such as ‘Fife El Tornado’ at Adam&EveDDB and ‘Complaints Welcome’, at Channel4 before joining Uncommon Creative Studio. Five years in the studio remains the fastest growing start-up of the decade, continuing to make famous stand-out work across a breadth of brands locally and globally. From the most recognised mental health initiative in the UK with ITV to finding homeless dogs a new home by launching the beer ‘Street Dog’ with the beer drinking dog lover Ricky Gervais. Uncommon was named Contagious first agency of the year, and recently Ad Age’s international agency of the year.
