Navy Blue works on identity to promote Moray

Navyblue is working on an identity for the newly formed Moray Tourism Development organisation, which aims to promote the Speyside and Moray coast in northern Scotland.

The consultancy, which has an office in Edinburgh, was appointed in June following a credentials pitch, according to marketing manager Abigail Stubbs. MTD is formed from representatives of a number of regional businesses, some of whom Navyblue had worked with previously, according to Stubbs.

Navyblue started work on the identity a month ago. Stubbs says, ‘The aim of the identity is to put [the area] on the map, while maintaining its image as being rugged and unspoilt.’

The new identity is set to launch at the end of autumn.
