A round-up of this week’s news in brief.
Consultancy me&dave has designed the branding for Eagle Wharf, a new residential tower in east London’s Old Street. The designs are Art Deco-inspired, using a bespoke typeface and black and white hoardings to create impact. The brochure is inspired by the look of Moleskine notebooks.
Nickelodeon UK has announced that Alison Bakunowich has been promoted tovice president, creative, marketing and communications, UK & Ireland. The new position will see Bakunowich continue to lead the marketing and communications team while also managing Nickelodeon UK’s creative team.
Elmwood has created the branding for Anchor Pastry, a new ready-made pastry product from the dairy brand. The consultancy also created the ‘tastes like homemade’ proposition and packaging, which features illustrations of baking elements such as pastry brushes, rolling pics and cookie-cuters in the shape of the Anchor brand marque.
Greenwich Design has rebranded Milton, the home and professional sterilising brand. According to Milton, the new designs aim to create ‘an emotive connection with today’s modern parents’.
Yorkshire-based consultancy United by Design has created the bottle designs for Yorkshire microbrewery Treboom. The designs aim to reflect the ‘science and artistry’ of beer making.
Jamieson Smith Associates has been appointed to design the Regent Street flagship store for The Orvis Company, an American-owned brand specialising in high-end fly fishing, hunting and sporting goods. The new store design aims to reference the brand’s American sprting heritage and create a ‘rustic, outdoors look and feel’.
Dalziel and Pow has designed a new wedding department for the Paris department stores in Chile. According to the consultancy, the ‘wedding department is a much more desirable, romantic and inspirational area’. This is part of Dalziel and Pow’s ongoing work with the stores.
Bristol-based consultancy Colour & Thing has created new branding for architectural practice AWW. The consultancy also created a new fully responsive website for the practice.
Glasgow-based consultancy Freytag Anderson has created the new branding and website for Editions of 100, an online platform where people can buy original limited edition prints by invited creatives.
Webb de Vlam has designed the Laverstoke Mill Limited Edition Bottle and the Imagine What You Can Discover giftbox for gin brand Bombay Sapphire. The special edition product features an illustration by Si Scott.
Coley Porter Bell has rebranded Tui Travel’s sailing holiday companies Sunsail and The Moorings. The designs aim to make them more distinct, and extend their appeal to new users, including non sailors, according to the consultancy.
Lambie Nairn has rebranded European sports channel network Sportklub, which broadcasts sports content to Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia and Montenegro. The new look features a graphic device based on the club shield or badge.
Leeds-based consultancy Chilli UK has created new branding and packaging for Fruit Factory, a range of fruit-based snacks owned by Humdinger. The new packs for the children’s range are ‘colourful, fun and imaginative’, says Chilli UK.
Consultancy Rubber Cheese has designed a new online social hub for Beefeater Gin. The fully-responsive site features a cocktail database and the ability to stream multiple social media channels.
Consultancy Platform has designed a new reception area for Vodafone’s head offices in Newbury. The space features chairs in the Vodafone brand colours and a black finned screen, with a ‘hello’ graphic.
Aesop has been appointed by Andy Murray to create a brand identity for his new company, 77. Aesop will also create an identity for Murray as an individual, which will appear across all of his sportswear.
Mark Denton has designed the promotional materials for new play Sex Cells, including the trailer, flyers, e-flyers and digital four-poster site in Hammersmith, west London.
Andy Johnson has been appointed group development business unit director of Sun Branding Solutions. Johnson, who was formerly business unit director for Sun Branding Creative, will develop communications strategy for the consultancy.
Umbrella Design has worked with Hourglass Cosmetics to create a new concession for the brand at John Lewis’ Kingston branch. Features include an Art Deco-inspired cosmetics bar, black glass, mirrored surfaces and metallic embellishments.

Hills Design has created a new website for Gloucestershire-based sports coaching company, Isporta. The designs are themed around a ‘school days’ idea , and use the company’s black and yellow brand colours.
Consultancy WonderlandWPA has created the packaging for BisBas, a new range of Middle Eastern sauces. An illustrated camel is shown on-pack, carrying the ingredients used in the products.
Consultancy Space has designed the Halloween campaign for Thorpe Park’s Fight Nights series. The designs aim to emulate horror movie posters using a black and red colour palette, and will be used across posters, advertising and online.
Dragon Rouge has created the branding and packaging for Kerry Foods’ new Loaded range of ready meals, which aim to be more ‘generous and filling’ than those currently available. The designs use a fork icon, food photography and bold colours.
