Peter & Paul has got new music festival identity down to a ‘T’

Peter & Paul has been appointed creative director of Europe’s largest free music festival, Tramlines, which will be held in Sheffield in July.

The consultancy was approached by festival organisers to create this year’s campaign, but decided that the festival’s existing identity needed an overhaul, says Peter & Paul partner Peter Donohoe.

The new logo, which will be seen on the festival’s website from next week, features a three-point tram track like that found in Sheffield which spells out the letter ’T’.
Donohoe says, ’We wanted to create an identity with symbolic relevance to the movement of the tram route.’

This year’s photography-led campaign centres around the concept ’Free for all’ and features more than 80 portraits of members of the public by Shaun Bloodworth.
