Rebrand and new website for Scottish accountants

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland’s website is being redesigned by Realise Digital in a bid to increase user engagement as consultancy 17-7 works on a rebrand.

Realise Digital won the project through a multi-staged pitch in November 2010, presenting technical credentials, creative proposals and strategy to beat ‘a big rival competitor’ in the final stage, according to head of client services Jessica Mullen.

ICAS says the project is part of a wider repositioning being carried out by consultancy 17-7 including a new visual identity, which will consider the heritage of the brand and be ‘digital friendly’ as the organisation looks to better consider how its members consume new media.

The new website will collect information about user patterns, offer personalised content to members and allow them to form online communities around specific subject areas like tax or accounting to increase interaction.

Mullen says the site will look to emulate the offline resources provided by ICAS ‘to foster a knowledge-sharing environment’.

The new site is expected to launch in June and show the brand designed by 17-7.
