Scott Brownrigg redesigns KI interiors following flood

Scott Brownrigg Interiors has redesigned the interiors of furniture manufacturer KI, following a flood which caused extensive damage to its showroom.

The consultancy and the manufacturer are both based in London’s Holborn and Scott Brownrigg, which uses KI products in many of its designs, was appointed directly this summer.

Display space, meeting rooms and breakout space for staff and visitors have been forged in the new design, which looks to give the KI products more prominence.

The main intervention is at the reconfigured reception area, where KI storage units have been adapted to make a front-of-house area. It also houses KI pedestals.

A back wall has been designed with the KI identity laser-cut into steel, rooms have been resized with the use of glazed walls and curved meeting room ceilings, feature lighting has been installed with lighting rafts, and a black champagne and canapé bar features in the new layout.

Scott Brownrigg Design says that, ‘Three further meeting rooms have also been added and a further showroom on the first floor for educational products.’
