The campaign is running on posters as well as online and through a radio and television campaign.
The posters feature real case studies of armed services personnel who have been helped by the Royal British Legion. The campaign features the strapline ‘shoulder to shoulder with all who serve’.
Russell Thompson, director of fundraising and special events at the Royal British Legion, says, ‘The Gate has produced a commercial that makes it clear that the Royal British Legion is the only charity that looks after all serving and ex-servicemen for all of their lives, in a creative and compelling film.’
The posters are rolling out from today, with the Poppy Appeal launching on 18 October and running through to 11 November.
