The Yard Creative works up Panopolis sandwich bars

The Yard Creative has been appointed to design two shops for high-end sandwich retailer Panopolis at London City Airport.

The consultancy was appointed two weeks ago. It was approached following a previous project for Panopolis at Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus.

Panopolis is an artesan bread-led brand that specialises in open sandwiches and salads, and so it is well suited to the type of business traveller that London City Airport attracts, says The Yard Creative director Steve James-Royle.

The Yard Creative has been briefed to create retail units fitting of the brand’s premium status, but that will enable customers to quickly grab a bite to eat with ease, says James-Royle.

The shops, which are due to be constructed in June, will be located airside and landside at the airport.
