Tom Foulkes to join Buro Happold

Foulkes will start his new role as head of marketing and business development at the engineer on 14 December.

During his time at Land Securities, Foulkes was responsible for putting together the developer’s first-ever formal design roster for its retail portfolio, which features consultancies including Next Big Thing and Small Back Room.

Speaking about his move to Buro Happold, Foulkes says, ‘There is a real cultural match,’ adding, ‘I see design as being very important to effective marketing, and my understanding is that Buro Happold sees design as being very important to effective engineering.’
