Tony Phillips joins The Partners as head of digital

The Partners has appointed former Imagination creative director Tony Phillips as head of digital at the consultancy.

Phillips (pictured) replaces Nathan Williams, who has left to become a strategist at Wolff Olins. He will work with digital design director Rufus Kahler, who joinedThe Partners in March, to ensure digital continues to be integrated across the consultancy, according to managing partner Jim Prior.

The appointments of both Phillips and Kahler are key to ’strengthening our digital capacity’ and come on the back of a ’buoyant year’ for the consultancy, says Prior, who has this year secured contracts with Vodafone and Pearl Group.

Eight new positions have been created this year in The Partners’ London office, including five new design roles, and the consultancy plans to expand its New York office in 2011.
