E3 creates ‘to scale’ website for Toshiba phone launch

E3 – Toshiba’s rostered digital consultancy – took on the brief in March, when it was asked to create a site that could demonstrate the features of the phone.

The website, which goes live today, shows a ‘pixel-perfect scale representation’ of the phone, according to Anthony Webster, joint creative director at E3.

Other components on the site, including models displaying the phone, were scaled accordingly. An image gallery, accessories section and handset specification also feature on the site.

Webster has created 13 ‘exploratory’ videos for the site, demonstrating the features of the phone, which uses a 10.4cm screen.

‘The challenge with the whole project was getting everything to scale. It’s not been done by anyone else before and it’s definitely new for us,’ Webster explains.
