Galileo Multimedia

Publisher Galileo Multimedia commissioned illustrator Sarah Perkins and photographer Ian Jackson to produce a series of paintings to illustrate Beautiful Losers, a novel by Leonard Cohen. The illustrations were inspired by themes of magic and religion, and the mantra ‘God is alive. Magic is afoot’. The husband and wife team have married their individual styles using collage, painting, photography and digital art; a mutual ambition made possible by the use of Photoshop. This particular image is used on the cover of the book.
