Japanese professional exchange programme

My organisation brings people from Japan to work for 3-12 months in the UK under the Training and Work Experience Scheme.

The interns on our professional exchange programme work on a voluntary basis. They lodge with local families, for which they will pay 50-60 per week to cover the cost of food, heating etc, or are supplied with self-catering accommodation if working for housing associations.

We receive a small supply of people from an architecture or interior design background who are usually available to work for 9-12 months in the public, private or voluntary sector. We would be pleased to hear from anyone wishing to employ a full-time volunteer from this kind of background, anywhere in the UK. The service is free, so this may specially appeal to the voluntary housing sector or hospices.
