Working late can give the wrong impression
David Cheung, recently appointed senior designer at Plume, has already had a brush with the long arm of the law because of his working habits.
After burning the midnight oil in the studio, Cheung was attempting to fix a recalcitrant padlock to the front door before heading home, when he noticed a spotlight trained on him from further up the street.
Behind it was a pair of the Met’s finest, who thought Cheung was attempting to break into the office. After explaining his situation “He was cautioned for working late,” jokes a colleague.
