Natalie Spencer chooses this month’s selection of photographers’ and illustrators’ work

Oxfordshire-based design consultancy Touchpaper styled and art directed the photography for Panasonic’s 25th anniversary brochure. Andy Earle’s photography looks at Panasonic as an essential component within the community. The brochure signifies the current shift in Panasonic’s approach to its marketing strategy and will be mailed out to all shareholders over the next few months.

Simon Emery was commissioned by the art department of Island Records to create photographic imagery for three singles and an album cover for DJ Alex Reece. The theme for the image was urban light and cityscapes depicting the travelling lifestyle of the DJ. Emery worked closely with Reece and his music to find suitable imagery and forthcoming releases will continue the theme of light.

The Foundation for Art & Creative Technology commissioned illustrator Joe Magee for the promotional material for its International Symposium on Electronic Art. FACT’s isea98revolution hosts exhibitions and events until 11 October in Liverpool and Manchester. Brochures, posters, direct mail and banners for the exhibition are designed by Liverpool-based Enzyme Design.
