Further unrest at Briscoe

Edward Briscoe Design, which weathered a period of staff disquiet last year with the appointment of a new non-executive director, appears to be facing further unrest.

A spokeswoman for the consultancy denies industry reports that founder and chairman Ted Briscoe has been ousted from its board. “Ted is still chairman,” she says. Briscoe was unavailable for comment.

Edward Briscoe International Group, which is listed by Companies House as the sole shareholder in Edward Briscoe Design, has apppointed three new directors in less than a month.

Staff at the design group are concerned about the latest developments, say sources close to the company.
